CRU Policies
As a member of the Lavinea CRU, you are authorizing LAVINEA to charge your credit card provided for your membership during each billing cycle, plus shipping and sales tax, where applicable. Member benefits begin with the purchase of the most recent shipment. By joining the CRU, you agree to receive at least two shipments of wine.
All Tastings are by advance Reservation. Pick up of CRU orders at our Tasting Room in Carlton must also be scheduled in advance and picked up within 30 days of the Release date.
Members are given at least 30 days advanced reminder of CRU shipments. All changes to your membership including status, address changes or billing information should be made during this 30-day period. Changes made after the 30-day period may be subject to additional charges. Grand CRU members may customize their shipments of single-vineyard wines, but request no more than six bottles of any one wine. All customization requests must be received at least 14 days prior to the shipment date.
Wine cannot be delivered to PO Boxes. Someone over the age of 21 must be available to receive and sign for your shipment. If your order is undeliverable and returned, re-shipping will be at your expense. Shipping benefits apply within the continental US, and only when shipping to a single address. Shipments to Alaska & Hawaii must be sent via air.
Lavinea reserves the right to adjust quantity and mix of wines according to the vintage. We will also delay shipment of wine if weather is prohibitive.
As a courtesy to members, we allow you to place your membership on hold for one shipment during the lifetime of the membership. Requests to skip a shipment must be received no later than two weeks prior to the relevant processing date.
If you wish to cancel your membership, you must do so in writing to GreatWines@Lavinea.com. We will confirm receipt of your request and process your cancellation.
